Application Baseline
You can find this module at the Global and Company levels.
We use the ConnectSecure Vulnerability Scan Agent to scan for any installed Application or Service on assets. Once identified, you can classify them as Denied or Mandatory based on the rule(s) you configure. The results will then be published on the Application Baseline Results screens.
You can use the application baseline rules to check your required software(s). This can be a global policy or company-specific. An example would be having the scan agent confirm/validate your desired Antivirus, RMM, Remote Control, and any other monitoring agents/software you use.
NOTE: The ConnectSecure agent does not install or remove software/services from an asset. We simply flag it as needed to be installed or removed and provide the evidence.
