Overview
This document covers how to install NMAP manually on a MAC/Linux asset. NMAP is required for Probe Agent scanning functionality.
Prerequisites
Administrator (root/SU) access to the terminal.
Instructions
To install NMAP in MAC:
sudo apt-get install alien
sudo alien nmap-7.95-3.x86_64.rpm
sudo dpkg --install nmap_7.95-4_amd64.deb
To install NMAP in ARM:
sudo su
apt update
apt-install NMAP
