How To: Agent One-Time Scan


Overview

This document covers using the ‘Scan’ option to run a one-time asset scan and upload the results to the portal.


Steps

  1. Navigate to a Company.

  2. Select Overview > Agents module.

  3. Tap your desired operating system.

  4. Tap the Scan radio button option and follow the steps indicated.

  1. Once the scan is complete, you will see the message displayed and can find the ‘output.json’ file located in the OneTimeScan_x folder

  1. Tap the upload button to select the output.json file as shown above.

Navigate back to the Assets view the details.

Use the Table View in Assets to see the ‘Agent Type’ ONETIMESCAN displayed

Use the three-dot Action menu to remove a one-time asset:
