How To: Convert Probe to LWA

Overview

This document covers how to convert a probe agent to a lightweight agent.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Company > Overview > Agents menu.

  2. Click on the Probe Agents option.

  3. Click on the three-dot Action menu and choose the Map Discovery Settings and Credentials option.

  4. Clear out any selected settings from the Discovery Settings and Credentials sections by unselecting any selected options.

  5. Tap save.

  6. You will then need to tap Confirm on the confirmation box below.

All assets discovered by this probe will be removed from the portal.

This process will take 2-3 minutes and the agent will be moved to the Lightweight Agents
