CyberCNS supports scanning of different Firewall Scans by leveraging the integrations capability.

Navigate to Integrations

  • Into CyberCNS portal, Navigate to Global Settings(⚙) > Integrations and choose Fortigate from the integrations listed.

  • It will lead to add credentials for the Fortigate device. Provide details as requested.

Enter Credentials

  1. Enter Name: Choose a name of your choice for the credentials to be added.

  2. Enter Hostname/IP Address: Enter a Hostname/IP address for the credentials to be added.

  3. Enter Port Number: Enter the Port Number for the credentials to be added. Currently please use port 22.

  4. Enter Username: Enter the username used to log in to Fortigate Firewall.

  5. Enter Password: Enter the password used to login to Fortigate Firewall

6. Select an associated company: Select the existing company into CyberCNS so as to add this asset under that company of your choice.

7. Select Probe/Agent: Select the Probe/Agent from the selected company to be used for the scan. In case there is no agent installed under a company, an external scan agent can be used to initiate firewall scans. This will initiate the scan from the CyberCNS Server (e.g abc.mycybercns.com)

  • Once all the details below are provided, SAVE the data. Likewise, multiple credentials can be added in this section using the '+' sign. Each set of credentials can be attached to a company and then to an agent under that company.

Once the credentials are added successfully at the company level, the Firewalls tab will be auto-created into the Main Menu of CyberCNS.

  • In the Firewalls section, once you click on Firewall Scan, the scan for all configured firewalls will be initiated.

  • Once the firewall scan is completed, details like Groups, Users, Access Rules, Licenses, and Interfaces will be populated for Fortigate firewall.

  • Different Scans of a firewall are shown with timestamps as below. Select the relevant timestamp to check for the respective results.

  • These results are available to be downloaded as a report into Docx format.

  • This completes the Fortigate Firewall scan.
