USE CASE: The ConnectSecure MSSP Portal allows managed security service providers to manage other MSPs in a multi-tenant dashboard manager, as shown below. The MSSP will be billed for any tenants and agent(s) deployed based on pricing tiers.

Access the MSSP Portal at https://msspportal.myconnectsecure.com and enter your MSSP Tenant name.

Inventory

  • Total Tenants = the count of total added tenants in the MSSP portal

  • Total Companies = the count of total added companies in the MSSP portal; a company is added into a tenant (IE, tenant/company)

  • Probe Agents = the count of installed Probe Agents

  • Lightweight Agents = the count of installed Lightweight Agents

  • Probe Discovered Assets = the count of Assets discovered by a Probe Agent full or network scan

  • External Assets = the count of External Assets (these assets do not have agents installed)

  • Total Vulnerabilities = sum of all discovered vulnerabilities for each severity group

  • Critical = total count of vulnerabilities with the severity of critical

  • High = total count of vulnerabilities with the severity of high

  • First Name, Last Name = user-defined first and last name

  • Tenant Name = displays the name of the ConnectSecure tenant with a hyperlink for quick login

  • Email = displays the defined email for login to the created tenant

  • Companies = displays the count of companies created in the tenant

  • Lightweight Agents = displays the count of Lightweight agents installed in the tenant

  • Probe Agents = displays the count of Probe agents installed in the tenant

  • Active Assets = displays the count of Probe Discovered Assets in the tenant

  • External Assets = displays the count of External Assets in the tenant

  • Total Vulnerabilities = sum of all discovered vulnerabilities for each severity group

Note

When clicking the ‘Add MSP’ button, if the Tenant Email ID is already associated with MSSP then the ‘Tenant already associated to mssp’ error will be displayed.

From the Global dashboard, click the ‘Add MSP’ button to create a new tenant and send user invites.

Enter an Email email address and the Tenant Nametenant's name, then tap the Save button.

Once you have sent the approval invite for the newly added MSP tenant, the Request Status will be displayed as ‘PENDING APPROVAL.’

The MSP end-user will receive an email for ‘MSSP Approval Request' as shown below.

The MSP end-user can approve this request directly from within their ConnectSecure portal by tapping on the bell-icon notification, as shown here:

The MSP Dashboard should now show the MSP tenant as APPROVED. Company details, inventory, and vulnerability information should now be available.

Use the company selector drop-down to switch from the Global view to the MSP view.

Tap on the Total Companies tile to view details within the MSP tenant, including Company Name, Probe and Lightweight Agent Counts, Probe Discovered Assets Count, External Assets Count, Total Vulnerabilities, and Severity Counts.

To access the available Settings, navigate to Global, then tap the Settings button on the header.
