ConnectSecure V4 On Premise Setup

ConnectSecure On Premise VM setup is appealing for many businesses with specific needs and priorities for Data Security, Privacy and Compliance.

Topic - Things to keep Ready

  1. Download the OVA file from here

  2. Download Azure image RAM TO PROVIDE A LINK

  3. Create a Virtual Machine with below configuration

    CPU                4 Core

    Memory         16 GB RAM

    Storage space 100 GB Disk Space(SSD) for 0-2500 assets

    Ports required  80, 443 and 4222 

IP A static Internal IP mapped to Public IP/External IP

  1. Select the VM created and navigate to Export OVF Template

  • Uncheck - Include image files attached to floppy and CD/DVD devices in the OVF package

  • Select the source file as consecure-V4-onprem.ova (downloaded earlier).

  • Check the OVF template details for selected OVA.

  • Name the OVF template

  • Select the storage

  • Select “Thin Provision”

  • Complete the deployment

  • VM will be ready as follows.

  • Start with Open Console for the VM.

  • The VM is ready to setup further by ConnectSecure Team over a remote session.

Topic - On Premise Setup

While on remote session, ConnectSecure team will perform below steps.

  • Login to the VM

  • Check for existing IP configuration using IPCONFIG

  • Static IP to be assigned to the VM.

  • Confirm the Internal IP is mapped to Public/external IP.

  • Browse the Public IP/External IP to access the UI for ConnectSecure and start with signup process.

  • Signup details to be added.

  • Make sure to add a Tenant Name for your organisation to NOT include any special Characters.

  • Once the signup is processed, the setting up of Software and Services start and take around 7 minutes to complete.

  • Setup Complete confirmation is shown once the configuration is completed.

  • As a part of configuration, 2 emails are sent to verify email and a Welcome To ConnectSecure V4 email.

  • Please follow Verify Email to complete User Verification Process.

  • Setup the password for the new user.

  • Setup 2 Factor Authentication for the user and you are ready to login to your ConnectSecure Portal.

  • Welcome Email has details of Portal URL, Tenant Name & User Name.

  • Once the User Verification and User Setup is completed, it will redirect to ConnectSecure Portal Onboarding.

  • Select PSA or Non-PSA for Creating a New Company.

  • Create a New Company with the details as requetsed.

  • Get ready to drop an agent in the Company network.
