Jamf - Overview
Map companies between ConnectSecure and Jamf dashboard and auto-create the deployment scripts for easy deployment of the CyberCNS V4 agent.
Jamf - Setup
Credentials
Login to your ConnectSecure portal
Navigate to Global > Settings > Integrations and tap the JamfPro tile
Complete the required fields:
JamfPro Domain Example: https://connectsecurenfr.jamfcloud.com/
Create Script
Once you have successfully added the credentials from the previous step, you will see the ‘Create Script’ section. Here, you can map companies and have the installation script generated automatically for the mapped company.
Tap the Add button.
Use the ‘Select Local Company’ drop-down to pick a ConnectSecure company
Tap the Add button once you have selected the company.
If you have more companies to add, use the ‘Select Local Company’ drop-down to select additional and tap Add. Once you have all the desired companies ready, tap the Finish button.
The company (or companies) should now have created the Scripts directly in the JamfPro Dashboard.
JamfPro Dashboard Scripts Auto Created by Mapped Company
Login to your JamfPro Dashboard
Navigate to the Settings > Computer Management > Scripts section
You can use the Search box as well to find the ‘scripts’ section
You should see the new entry created with your mapped company name; tap the entry to see details.
Tap on the Scripts tab to see the auto-created script for the selected company.
Adding JamfPro Policy for Agent Installation
Login to the JamfPro dashboard
Navigate to Computers > Policies and tap the Add button
Under the General section, name the policy and configure the parameters based on your preferences. In this example, I am simply using the login trigger.
Click on the Scripts section and Add the auto-created ConnectSecure Agent install script from the steps above.
Set any additional priority or parameter values, then tap save in the bottom right corner.
If desired, you can tick the box for ‘Show in Jamf Pro Dashboard’.
The dashboard should now show your newly created policy/script setup, and you are done.
You can find your computers under the ‘Search Inventory’ section.
